Star of the week.

Our star of the week this week is birthday boy Lewis. Lewis is an all round model child. He is polite and well mannered, a hard worker, a super friend and very helpful. Lewis is quietly confident and embraces all aspects of school life positively. Well done Lewis!

Ruby the dog.

We are very lucky to have Ruby, a ‘Pets as Therapy’ dog visit us in school on a Friday. When Ruby came into school this week we told her our name and gave her stroke. When she comes into school again, a small group of us will read to her. Ruby is a lovely, calm, happy dog that enjoys listening to children reading. We know from past experience that children love this opportunity.

Please meet Mrs Noggins!

We visit our school library on a Friday afternoon. This is when the children who have brought their library book back to school can change it for a new one. When we go to the library, our school librarian, Mrs Noggins helps us out. She is a unique lady that the children never forget. Some children think she is Mrs Legge dressed up. We explain to the children that it is in fact Mrs Legge’s sister. That is why they look and talk the same! Here are some pictures.

Dina the Dinosaur

As part of our Personal, Social and Emotional Development lessons we use puppets to support our teaching. There are two children; Wally and Molly and a teacher; Dina the Dinosaur. This week the children were introduced to two of the puppets. They absolutely loved them!
