Please return your child’s Learning Journey and Topic Book by Wednesday 2nd April. Oh, and don’t forget to sign it! Many thanks in advance.
Firstly, there is a letter about your child’s learning journey. Secondly, there is a letter from Mrs Pointon about using pictures of your child in her evidence records.
Our star of the week this week is Ben W. Ben is a very brave little boy. Last week he had a nasty fall and he was such a courageous boy. Ben had two big bumps on his head and a cut on his eye. He complained very little and after a check up, was soon bouncing around again! Ben is also a super tidier in the classroom. He never has to be asked to participate because as soon as he hears the tidy up song he springs into action straight away. On top of this, Ben works hard during teaching and learning sessions, always giving his best. Well done Ben!
finding the number that is one less than a given number in Mathematics. Some of us have used objects to find the answer. Some of us have used a number line or a 1 to 50 square. Some of us have been able to calculate the answers in our head!
In Literacy we have been learning about instructions. We have been reading and ordering instructions. As well as this, we have been following instructions to make a pirate hat.
